When Michel Rocheleau and Joan Bouret decided to go to the Quebec City Boat Show on March 24, they had no idea of ​​the surprise that awaited them. It was during this event that the couple visited the BRP booth and were both given a coupon for the “Win a Dream Garage” contest. One of these coupons contained the number that would allow the couple to win $50,000 of  BRP products! The BRP team invited them to their Valcourt offices to congratulate them. We took the opportunity to gather feedback on this memorable event.

No, we wanted to look at different boats to make up our minds on a gift for Michel’s 50th birthday next year, so it was a good opportunity to start shopping.

When Michel entered the coupon’s code on the contest website and we saw that the code was a winner, we first thought we had won a chance to win, we could not believe we had really won! We visited the website multiple times to answer our questions; it was definitely a sign of life.

X-TEAM TUESDAY: 2012 IJSBA US NATIONAL RACING TOUR

The 2012 UWP IJSBA National racing tour will visit seven popular PWC venues across the united States this summer with the best PWC racers in North America competing for the prestigious title of National Champion. The start of the 2012 season kicks off the debut of the highly touted new 2012 Sea-Doo RXP-X watercraft with over a half dozen of the top Pro riders making the switch to the new, tight-turning platform with Ergolock system. The season starts at the SuperCup of Watercross in Panama City Beach, Florida, May 19-20.  The stunning white sand and emerald green waters create the perfect backdrop for the opening round of the 2012 race season.

Chris MacClugage begins his 2012 Campaign on a new ride, his MACC Racing/Monster Energy backed Sea-Doo RXP-X.

Professional Sea-Doo watercraft racer and new  Sea-Doo X-Team rider Chris MacClugage  will begin his quest to add to his 15- National and World Titles in both the PRO Stock and PRO OPEN classes aboard his MACC Racing/Monster Energy backed Sea-Doo RXP-X. Perennial challenger and 2012 PRO Stock National Champion Troy Snyder will be campaigning to regain his title back from MacClugage aboard his Neptune Racing built Sea-Doo watercraft with challenge also coming from Sea-Doo X-TEAM Pros Claude Clayton, Brian Baldwin, Chris Heinrich, Brad Bohat, Eric Lagopoulos, and Jeremy Schandlemeyer.

The second BRP supported  event, the US Open of Watercross is scheduled for May 26-17 on the Alabama River in Montgomery, Alabama.  The elevated riverwalk borders the river and creates an excellent venue for watching all of the racing action. And the classic southern city of Montgomery provides the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the many heroes who helped shape our nation.

Racine, Wisconsin hosts the Grand Prix of Watercross on the western shore of Lake Michigan, June 16-17.  This Great Lake is a unique stop on the tour as the lake conditions are constantly changing. The waters can go from smooth glass in the morning to three-foot rollers in the afternoon and back to calm racing conditions by the end of the race all providing both racers and spectators an exciting race!

Sea-Doo Ultimate Fan: Enjoying the Warm and Perfect Water!

With the return of warm waters and daylight savings time, I’ve been able to get back on the water, take some solo rides after work during the week, and do a few family oriented outings.

Entertaining some friends as they departed Tampa on a Carnival Cruise ship.

Some of my favorite days on the water are the rides up around Clearwater Beach with my wife, Corrie.  This past month we were able to do our first ride together of the season.  We like to launch at Seminole Boat Ramp, head North up past Caladesi Island State Park, and then continue on to our secret spot on Anclote Key.  After exploring Anclote and watching some dolphins, we headed back down South and docked for lunch at Frenchy’s Seafood.  A great ride and a great lunch make for a relaxing and fun day for both of us.

We also had our summer kickoff at Egmont Key this past Saturday.  In all, ten Sea-Doo water craft braved the 5-8 foot waves around the island.  It was a rough ride to get out there, but once we were able to get anchored and setup, it turned into another perfect day on the water.  We had friends come from all over Florida as well as some family members from Michigan.

Later this month some friends and I will be attending the 2012 Jetski Spring Bash and Sea-Doo Test Ride Tour in St. Petersburg.  The event will be taking place at my favorite local riding spot and includes a poker run around many of the local islands.  It should be a great time and a great place to meet new people.  Also coming up on the schedule is another Bahamas trip in May.  This year I’m particularly excited to be crossing the Atlantic on the RXP-X 260.  I can’t wait to get some photos of the new ride sitting in turquoise waters!

BRP will be changing one lucky person’s life by awarding a new 2012 Sea-Doo GTX S 155 watercraft and a Sea-Doo MOVE iCatch PWC trailer in the “Share the Sea-Doo Life” Sweepstakes. The photo-based sweepstakes can be found on the Sea-Doo Facebook fan page and is being launched in connection with the start of the Sea-Doo Life Test Ride Tour. Every activity in the Share the Sea-Doo Life sweepstakes earns chances to win and contestants can earn up to 2012 entries.

Enter the contest by visiting http://www.sharetheseadoolife.com. Participants will receive one entry into the contest by completing the entry form on Facebook, the microsite, or mobile device. X TEAM TUESDAY: IT’S RACE TIME! SEA-DOO PRO HYDRO-X TOUR KICKS OFF IN MAY

BRP is proud to support the 2012 Pro Hydro-X tour. Come out and see where champions are made at the 2012 Sea-Doo Pro Hydro-X Tour.  The tour kicks off May 5-6 in Tavares, Fla., and features multiple race sites across the southeastern U.S.  Along with the exciting races, classes will be available for racers from beginners to Pro and includes free admission for spectators to most of the events.

  • Closed Course Racing will be in the following cities: Tavares, Fla., Macon, Ga., Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Atlanta, Ga.
  • The HydroDrag circuit and RIVA Racing HydroDrag Finals will be in Polk City, Fla, Atlanta, GA., and Sarasota or Naples, Fla.

Sea-Doo is the title sponsor for the 16th consecutive year for the tour and HydroTurf, Blowsion, Jettribe. RIVA Racing is the presenting sponsor this season.

Un couple chanceux du Québec gagne son Garage de Rêve BRP!

Le 24 mars 2012, lorsque Michel Rocheleau et Joan Bouret ont décidé de se rendre au Salon Expert Chasse et Pêche et Salon du Bateau de Québec, ils n’avaient aucune idée de la surprise qui les attendait. C’est lors de cet événement que le couple a visité le kiosque BRP et s’est vu remettre un coupon de participation chacun pour le concours “Gagner un garage de rêve BRP”. Un de ces coupons contenait le numéro gagnant qui allait permettre au couple de gagner 50 000 $ de produits BRP !

L’équipe BRP les a reçus dans ses bureaux de Valcourt pour les féliciter. Nous en avons donc profité pour recueillir leurs commentaires sur cet événement mémorable.
