CLOSED LOOP COOLING SYSTEM
The industry's first closed-loop cooling system is available standard on all Sea-Doo watercraft and sport boat four-stroke, 4-TEC models. This innovative alternative to traditional open-loop systems uses the watercraft's aluminum ride plate as a heat exchanger (like a car's radiator) to keep the engine and its coolant at the ideal operating water temperature. Unlike open-loop systems, which draw water directly from the riding environment into the engine, it improves saltwater and freshwater durability by helping prevent corrosion and keeping out debris.
O.P.A.S.™ (OFF-POWER ASSISTED STEERING) SYSTEM
Our exclusive O.P.A.S. system assists maneuverability in both off-power and off-throttle situations. Side vanes automatically deploy to provide additional assitance. The O.P.A.S. system actually increases the deceleration of the watercraft as the driver turns. Both the U.S. Coast Guard and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have recognized the O.P.A.S. system for its contribution to recreational boating safety.
