Quality is not just skin-deep. However...

Sea-Doo Sport Boats also utilize a unibody construction that starts with a sub-structure of closed-cell foam(6). This material is stronger and lighter in weight than wood when laminated, and will not rot like wood. It also offers the added benefit of increased flotation to meet and exceed industry standards. Hull and deck bonding, hardware and fixtures are secured with aluminum tapping plates that are laminated into the construction of the boat.

Aluminum will not shrink, expand or compress like wood backing that some of our competitors use. The unibody construction unites the "backbone" of the boat - the stringer system - to the hull structure. After the fiberglass hull and deck are produced, they enter our precision assembly process(7). Holes are cut and drilled using templates.

This provides a consistent format for the boat to accept the propulsion system, upholstery(8), dash components and hardware. The hull is then joined to the deck with aluminum fasteners and sealant(9). This provides a smooth secure ride to withstand the marine environment.
