Harvey finished just ahead of fellow Sea-Doo GTI mounted Anthony Antes of Australia in a field stacked with the best watercraft racers in the world riding the fastest watercaft in the world. The Sea-Doo X-TEAM “Brake the Bank” display showcased a handful of new 2010 models with product videos and sales staff on hand to talk to the fans. The Sea-Doo X-TEAM Bounty event has become a tradition at the World Finals featuring the best Sea-Doo watercraft racers in the world competing in a unique eventfor the week’s largest single prize. This year the “Brake the Bank” event pitted these top Sea-Doo watercraft racers against the clock with each riding the same 2010 Sea-Doo RXT-X, equipped with iBR (intelligent Brake and Reverse) around the World Finals track attempting to log their fastest timed lap. The twist was that each competitor had to brake and stop after passing the finish line before a marked stopping point, or a two-second penalty was added. Twelve racers were invited to compete in the 2009 Sea-Doo X-TEAM “Brake the Bank” Bounty with the winner being awarded the X-TEAM piggy bank filled with $1000. Florida’s Eric Lagopoulos bettered the stacked filed with a one-lap time of 1:24.5 for the Bounty win. BRP is the only manufacturer that offers a racer support program and the World Finals Sea-Doo X-TEAM Bounty event is always a crowd favorite. BRP would like to congratulate the following, newly crowned, IJSBA World Champions.
